Large Candle Holder, 15th/16th Century
Important bronze candlestick from the late 15th or early 16th century, probably German or Flemish. The turned shaft rests on a circular base. The wide cup, with a riveted central boss, is fitted with its original wrought iron spike. Beautiful patina and very good condition. Total height 36 cm, 29.5 cm excluding the spike, and 15 cm in diameter.
