"Antique Watercolor Decoration Of A Princely Residence By Maison Mercier In Paris"
An original antique watercolor presentation of the decoration of a luxurious Princely apartment by the renowned Maison Mercier in Paris, a leading decorator of exceptional residences worldwide. This painted work was intended to present to His Majesty MRH Khalid Bin Fahad the design for the Princess's boudoir study, featuring a luxurious bed adorned with a canopy and an Oriental-inspired canopy, a Louis XVI style marquetry commode surmounted by a stylized mirror, a painting, a crystal chandelier, armchairs, and a large pedestal table embellished with luxurious bronzes and draperies for his Parisian residence. You can also discover other watercolor works for sale in my gallery, created by this Maison and for the same apartment. This watercolor is in superb original condition (no stains or other damage). The edges of the original cardboard support show some minor stains, but these do not damage the paint layer. It would be possible to add a mat to conceal the edges, as originally installed but now missing. A handwritten note describing the situation appears in the lower left corner.
