"The quintessential Osirian amulet, the Djed pillar embodies stability and regeneration; associated with Osiris, it frequently accompanies protective scarabs, worn as personal talismans. This type of adornment, both radiant and laden with meaning, extends into daily life an essential idea of ancient Egypt: protection, strength, and immortality."
