it is made from turned light wood, possibly juniper, set and studded with a thick Tibetan silver mount (low standard), all of which is particularly well crafted.
Inside is lined with a thick sheet conforming to shape of this bowl, as is the wide silver-covered rim outside.
Hollow base is set by an openwork mount imitating basketry, and bottom features a deeply carved Buddhist medallion.
In excellent condition, no chips, no cracks, no restoration, 11.5cm x 7.8cm. Weight: 260g.
