Large Sterling Silver Timpani Orléans Louis-nicolas Outside XVIIIth

Timpani in solid silver in the shape of a tulip on a gadrooned pedestal bearing the Charge hallmark (crowned letter R) of Orléans 1775-1781 and the discharge hallmark (Closed hand), the Jurande hallmark for 1780 (crowned letter N between two points surmounting a trefoil leaf) and the hallmark of Master Goldsmith Louis-Nicolas Dehors (initials LND) received in 1756. Timpani in superb condition. Height 11.5 cm, diameter at the neck 9 cm. Weight 171.4 gr.
