"Baden Pickelhaube Officer's Model 1870/71"
A fine example of a Imperial German Baden officer's 1870/71 pattern pickelhaube helmet. A black leather skull with brass gilt officer fittings. Large die struck Baden griffin Wappen plate secured to the front, showing no extra fixation holes to the interior. Large fluted spike to the top with base secured with four 8 pointed stars. Large segmented chinscales with large state cockade to the right hand side. The interior retains its correct leather liner which shows little wear. Overall the condition is excellent, a very rare pickelhaube.
