"Louis XV Style Library From The 18th Century"
A very fine Louis XV oak bookcase dating from the 18th century. It opens with two doors, the upper section of which is glazed. The lower section is decorated with artistic symbols surmounted by a garland and surrounded by a laurel wreath. Painting, on the left, is represented by a palette with brushes, and music, on the right, by a lyre. The piece is also richly decorated on the uprights and rails with stylized plant motifs and floral friezes. The lower sections of the uprights are carved with amusing grotesque faces. All the drawer bottoms and shelves are also made of oak. With its rich decoration evoking the arts, this piece is ideal for housing a collector's library. This bookcase can be fully disassembled using dowels and can be taken apart for delivery.
