An elegant late 20th century console table by Brights of Nettlebed, a respected family firm renowned for fine English furniture since 1866. This refined piece combines classic English design with excellent modern cabinetmaking.Executed in richly toned walnut with exquisite inlay throughout, the console has a superb, finely finished top surface above a long, smoothly running drawer, fitted with brass accent handles. It stands on slender, tapered legs finished with brass sabots to the feet, lending a crisp, tailored look and underlining the quality of the construction. This model remains in production today and can still be ordered new from Brights of Nettlebed, which speaks to both the quality and enduring desirability of the design.
