A high-quality, untouched 19th-century brown leather button-back club armchair of substantial and well-balanced proportions. The generously shaped frame features a deeply buttoned upholstered back and arms, all retaining the original brown leather.  
Refined details include elegant, scroll-shaped arms, a sprung seat with a loose, feather-filled cushion, and close-nailed brass stud decoration. The chair stands on square, tapering legs, giving it a clean, understated profile that complements its classic form.
