French Revolution Bonnet De Police
French Revolutionary period bonnet de police. A blue and red cloth body with top terminating with a tricolour tassel. The front of the bonnet is embroided with the revolution stand of arms and a scroll reading "Republique Francaise". Interior is lined with polished cotton. In good condition showing only minor wear. A rare piece of headdress. Circa 1791-98
