The partially fluted shaft, with spiralling ribs, is surmounted by two opposing Egyptian heads wearing the kalf. The bobeche is finely chased with channels and finials. The whole rests on a finely chased base decorated with broad acanthus leaves, bordered by a laurel wreath tied with ribbons.
