"Desk, Late 16th/early 17th Century "
A single-drawer oak table on the front, resting on four ringed column legs and a central stretcher joined in an H-shape. Very stable, it could serve as a small desk given its ample clearance under the stretcher (61 cm), allowing for easy knee clearance. The leg ends and drawer knob are set at the rear. The entire piece is pegged, waxed, and polished. France, likely Normandy, late 16th or early 17th century.
