Moroccan Nimcha Sabre - Morocco, 19th century. Handpiece in beautiful honey-colored blond horn. Steel guard with fine remnants of gold damascening. Blade of European import. Scabbard with a wooden core covered in red morocco leather and a chape of chased copper alloy. General oxidation on the steel. The ferrule that decorated the bottom of the handle, above the guard, is missing. Minor damage and losses to the horn of the handle. The morocco leather of the scabbard is partially unstitched. Overall length 102.5 cm. Length without scabbard 102.5 cm. Blade length 87.5 cm. Weight 1040 g. Weight without scabbard 886 g.
