A multi-talented artist—painter, engraver, and writer—he is best known for his seminal work, *La Technique de la peinture à l'huile* (The Technique of Oil Painting), published in 1959, as well as for his involvement in the Seiz Breur movement. Throughout his life, Langlais worked to preserve and promote Breton identity through his artistic and literary creations.
