Earthenware Lion From Rouen, Delamétairie Factory, Late 18th Century.
A standing lion on a rectangular base resting on four small Rouen faience feet, decorated with polychrome naturalistic motifs and stylized flowers and foliage on the sides of the base. Marked in manganese "G" under the base.
Manufactured by DelaMétairie (circa 1749 to 1830). Late 18th century.
