Flower pot in the shape of a bull's head by the Parisian artist Thomas Sergent (1830-1890). Late 19th century. Relief sculpture in polychrome glazed earthenware, known as majolica, inspired by the work of Bernard de Palissy (16th century). Head crowned with braided lanceolate leaves. Brown and beige reservoir. Very good condition. Marked "TS" for "Thomas Sergent" at the base of the back.
