"Summer In The Medieval Style "
Medieval peasants stand before a castle, harvesting a wheat field while their wives shear sheep. A decorative border with a frieze of flowering scrolls inhabited by insects surrounds the scene. The parchment sheet is framed in an antique, molded, and stained fruitwood frame. The parchment itself measures 20.7 x 16 cm.
