"Carved Armchair, Louis XIV Period"
A very fine armchair with a high, curved back, in molded and carved walnut, decorated with acanthus leaves and sunflowers, with sinuous armrests and scrolled supports, resting on four partially arched legs ending in eagle talons, the front legs also adorned with feathers, joined by an H-shaped stretcher (minor losses and repaired sections).Louis XIV period, circa 1670-1680.
Good condition.
