A porcelain figurine depicting a peasant woman, known as The Goose Girl (Gänsemagd). This model was created by Ungerer and included in the Meissen catalogue in 1902. It bears the blue crossed swords mark and is numbered T175. It is reproduced in the Meissen-Bergmann catalogue. Jakob Ungerer was a German sculptor renowned for his Neoclassical and Art Nouveau works, including public monuments, architectural decorations, and porcelain figurines. Between 1880 and 1903, the Meissen Manufactory acquired 14 of his models, producing popular Art Nouveau figurines such as "The Goose Girl" and genre scenes of rural life.
