Meissen porcelain figurine from the allegorical “Devisenkind” series depicting Cupid sitting on a cloud, trying to catch a winged heart. It rests on a triangular base decorated with pink panels, one of which bears the inscription “Je prends mon essor” (I’m taking flight). Model created around 1775 by Michel Victor Acier based on drawings by Schönau. Marked with crossed blue swords and numbered F11. Listed in the Meissen Bergmann catalog
