A rare pair of Wedgwood "Hummingbirds in Flight" vases, decorated in a glossy blue with exotic gilt birds designed by Daisy Makeig-Jones, circa 1917. Both pieces bear the gilt Portland Vase mark, the model number Z5294, and painted marks. The exterior of the vase is decorated with numerous birds in flight, the rims feature a motif of geese in flight, and the inner rim has a glossy red design. Height: 13 cm.
