Refined work table in solid walnut and ebonized wood, with fruitwood, walnut, and ebonized wood inlays. The table features curved legs, a top and shelf finely inlaid with geometric, floral, and animal decorations, which enhance the elegance of the piece. Further refinement is provided by the presence of gilded bronze details along the edges of the top and shelf, the corners with plant decorations, and finally the key lock. The key allows the top to open, revealing a series of compartments for storing small items and a mirror. French manufacture, second half of the 19th century.
