Baccarat - Baccarat Cut And Engraved Crystal Bonbonnière With Solid Silver Minerva Lid

A beautiful Baccarat crystal bonbonnière, richly cut with Louis XVI style fluting, featuring a star-shaped base engraved with clover leaves. The Art Nouveau lid is also decorated with clover leaves. It bears the French Minerva 1st Standard hallmark and the maker's mark of the Société Parisienne d'Orfèvrerie, active between 1910 and 1914. This is a luxury piece from the Belle Époque, crafted from heavy crystal and combining two techniques: wheel-cut and engraved crystal. The perfection of these models (entirely handmade!) demonstrates Baccarat's technical supremacy. An antique piece, ours does not bear the crystalworks' signature.
