Colored Gold Box, Directoire Period
Round box in colored gold, pink, yellow and green. It has on its two sides a guilloche decoration of intersecting streaks forming a diamond centered with a flower. The edges are decorated with a raised foliage frieze on an matte background. It bears the hallmarks of 1798 and is rechecked with an eagle's head. Weight: 57 g Diameter: 6 cm Height: 2 cm It is engraved with the initials "A. D" on the body.
