The Attics Of A Château - Painted Canvas Screen From The Napoleon III Period - Louis XV Style 19th

Elegant screen in painted canvas, the 4 leaves curved into a basket handle. The Louis XV style floral decoration is typical of that of Aubusson tapestries from the Napoleon III period. Our screen is probably a box of tapestries. Mid-19th century. Screens, as their name suggests, were used in the 18th century to protect against cold drafts when doors were opened. It is a good castle background for a lady's or young girl's bedroom, or to hide a toilet area Width: 4*60cm (total: 240cm) Height: 151cm
