Beautiful Louis XVI Directoire period officer's chest of drawers in speckled mahogany veneer, ebony fillet, brass inlays. With fluted uprights, it opens with 3 large drawers, the first with dividers for shirts, rests on spinning top feet. It is topped with white marble set in a brass gallery pierced with diamond-shaped trellis patterns. Late 18th century, circa 1790-1800. Our chest of drawers is a very refined Parisian production in the style of Molitor or attributable to Molitor. In addition to its very elegant lines, it has all the finishes that enthusiasts are looking for. It is truly a beautiful piece of furniture, the expression of our personal taste.
