Pair of Antique Carriage Lanterns – 19th Century. Pair of patinated brass carriage lanterns (for horse-drawn vehicles), with glazed cylindrical bodies and opening side doors. The tiered ventilated caps and lower chimneys are characteristic of candle, oil, or kerosene lanterns. The glass retains its original, slightly tinted appearance. Beautiful antique patina; an authentic set in very good condition. Ideal for collecting, decoration, or enhancing a period interior.
