Hanging Lantern In Patinated Wrought Iron Decorated With Vine Foliage - Italian Or French Work
Naturalist-style lantern, in painted and patinated wrought iron, formed by a slender hexagonal structure with six vertical uprights, joined under a curved dome supported by graceful arches. The whole is adorned with an abundance of stylized vine leaves and tendrils, finely cut and patinated in shades of soft green, olive green and pale yellow.
The center is equipped with four iron light arms, simulating electrified candles (visible sockets, probably with B22 bayonet or E14 base). The top is adorned with a cluster of openwork foliage that conceals the suspension chain attachment.
