A very important polychrome earthenware cachepot from Desvres in the Rouen style. This splendid, undulating bowl is adorned with two large handles. The body is gadrooned and decorated with a charming basket filled with flowers and foliage; this decoration is entirely hand-painted. The inscription "Desvres Handmade" is on the base.
