"Tric-trac From The Louis XVI XVIII Century"
A superb Louis XVI period backgammon board in mottled mahogany from the 18th century. It features a gilt brass frieze and two drawers, each opening from one side. It includes all its original playing pieces and a leather cup for a game of backgammon. The fluted legs are adorned with gilt bronze ferrules at the top and rest on bronze casters. The removable playing surface has one side covered in green felt and the other in brown leather, forming a writing desk when closed. The frame is made of oak.
