18th Century Pewter Milk Jug
Pewter milk jug on a footed base, with a hinged, semi-circular lid and a fixed vertical handle. A small, old repair is visible above the foot (see photo). Hallmarks are visible on the base, along with the date 1748. A beautiful decorative object that would look lovely on a table or other piece of furniture. Lyon, second half of the 18th century.
