Lxv Wedding Commode, Languedoc, 18th Century.

Beautiful Louis XV style commode with a curved front and sides in waxed walnut. Languedoc work from the 18th century. A very elegant model with three drawers on cabriole legs ending in "snail" feet. Beautiful ornamentation, typically reserved for engagement and wedding furniture, featuring "hearts" on the uprights and one of the drawers, as well as a lovely "shell" motif in the center of the lower rail. In very good condition with a superb antique patina. Note: Transport is at the buyer's discretion and expense.
