"Kodak No. 1 Folding Pocket - 1896 Vintage Camera"
Kodak No. 1 Folding Pocket. Made in the USA, circa 1896. Brown leather-covered body, burgundy bellows. The first iconic Kodak folding camera with a retractable nickel-plated scissor mechanism to open the bellows. Round Kodak Eastman Company logo. The Kodak Folding Pocket, originally designed by Frank Brownell, appeared as early as 1897. This first model used Kodak 105 roll film, producing 6 × 9 cm images, and featured an achromatic lens with an aperture of f/11. Later, to differentiate it from newer formats (such as the No. 1A, No. 2, etc.), it was renamed "No. 1 Folding Pocket Kodak." Link to the website:
