Trumeau Mirror, Late 18th Century
Large wooden trumeau mirror with a parquet back, consisting of a mercury mirror surrounded by a double molded frieze of scrolling foliage and palmettes. The upper section is decorated with a depiction of Diana and a nymph approaching Cupid, who is asleep against a low column near his quiver.
Some damage to the wood.
Marks on the mirror.
