This 18th-century openwork giltwood console table, with its beautiful, flowing lines, is in pure Louis XV Baroque style, baroque to the core, with a beautiful movement and very well sculpted; its original patinated gilding and its pink marble nuanced with a cloud of light grey, its double cabriole legs joined by an ornamental and rich stretcher, the feet that join it sculpted with stylized leaves of beautiful movement and robust with a beautiful whiplash curve at the top; the crossbar with two openworks on either side of a majestic central motif accompanied by acanthus leaf scrolls; the sides embellished with an openwork in "waves" ending towards the wall with a shell, the structure of the top with in the center two dovetailed crossbars supporting with the rear crossbar the two lateral returns the pretty marble with a corbin beak, this piece of furniture bears an inventory number 1781.
