"Nude Drawn In Sanguine. "
The young woman, depicted nude, has her back to us, her head resting on her arms; she appears to be asleep. Sensual and desirable, this beautiful nude, irresistible to any man, is drawn in sanguine and dates from the 1930s or 1940s. The work is signed "Jul" in the lower right corner, and although of fine quality, we have found no information about this signature, which we suspect is a pseudonym. The drawing is housed in a gilt and molded frame measuring 68 cm x 86 cm, with the image measuring 53 cm x 71 cm. First half of the 20th century.
