Pair of magnificent 19th-century Louis XV style candelabra, three arms in gilt bronze, richly decorated (curves, asymmetry, very fluid movement). Note the finely chased and gilded bronze, an extremely detailed piece. The decoration of foliage, scrolls, shells, and plant motifs is typical of 18th-century aesthetics. Their wide, sculpted base ensures stability and elegance. These ceremonial candelabra were intended for a noble drawing room or reception hall.
