Oval-shaped pike hollow dish in polychrome glazed earthenware, the naturalistic decoration is composed of polychrome enamelled pike freshwater fish on a nuanced blue marbled background. It is animated by a frog, a lizard, shells and a snake - School of Paris unsigned attributed to Victor BARBIZET around 1880 - 1900. Victor BARBIZET sought in the wake of Georges Pull and Charles Avisseau to render the quality of the enamel and the finish of the parts.
