A charming miniature on ivory from the first half of the 18th century, in the style of the works of Nicolas Lancret or Watteau, depicting three children reading. In good condition, and presented in a very pretty small carved and gilded wooden frame in the Regency style. Overall dimensions: 10 x 9 cm and 5.5 x 5 cm visible area.
