A 17th-century Louis XIII walnut wardrobe. This solid walnut Louis XIII wardrobe dates from the 17th century. It opens with two molded doors featuring carved panels with a geometric lozenge pattern, typical of the Louis XIII style. The uprights are adorned with turned balusters, and the whole is surmounted by a straight molded cornice. The interior is fitted with shelves of light wood, in keeping with the practices of the period. Beautiful antique patina, sound structure. An authentic, decorative piece with a striking presence.
