"Three-seater Sofa S32, Model By Pierre Chapo (1927 / 1987)"
Beautiful vintage sofa in tan leather and elm wood. Model S32 from 1967 by Pierre Chapo (born July 23, 1927 in Paris and died January 15, 1987), a French furniture designer. The sofa has eight tufted leather cushions filled with foam. The frame is made of elm wood pieces assembled using mortise and tenon joints, a construction technique inspired by Asian furniture. The cushions are supported by rubber squares secured at their corners with metal brackets. It is in good overall condition; just note a cigarette burn on one cushion (see photo), and the wood shows some signs of wear.
