CARD players Provenance: Former DE CHENNEVIERES Collection - Sold at Drouot in 1900. (Hallmark on the bottom left) Referenced: The CHENNEVIERES Collection ‘Four centuries of French drawings Louis-Antoine PRAT’ Exhibition from 8 March to 7 June 2007 at the Louvre. On pages 197 and 533, we find the personal notes of this great collector. We learn that it came from a major Parisian dealer of the time, GUICHARDOT, and that its hammer price was 23 francs to a Mr GIACOMELLI or JACOMETTI.
