A beautiful Dutch school still life, presenting a rich and balanced composition: a bouquet of flowers (tulips, garden flowers) accompanied by fruit (grapes, peach/apricot, citrus) and, remarkably, a blue and white Delft/porcelain-style pot, as well as opened oysters in the foreground. The whole is set against a dark background, with beautiful contrasts and a warm palette, true to the spirit of Dutch still lifes.
