Small Cherrywood Chest Of Drawers, Directoire Period – Early 19th Century
A charming small chest of drawers, crafted from cherry wood and topped with Belgian gray marble, dating from the Directoire period of the early 19th century. Its refined design and craftsmanship make this piece both original and functional. Three spacious drawers (the top one is narrower) are adorned with gilt brass drop handles and working locks with heart-shaped escutcheons. On each side, the simple uprights feature brass capitals that accentuate the upper corners of the piece. ********Period: Early 19th century. Excellent condition after restoration in our workshop.
