Beautiful Crowned Torch, Finely Forged, Baroque
beautiful antique hand-forged candlestick/candle holder, dating from 17th or 18th century.
Shape is intentionally majestic, still in the spirit of Gothic medieval period, with its carved floral crown (a ribbon 45cm circumference…), its three twisted feet, its forged truncated conical twisted shaft with a ringed center section, and its thick iron "cake mold" fixed on tip.
Assembled with strong, oversized rivets.
