Pewter vegetable dish from Strasbourg - 19th century. Large, flared pewter vegetable dish with two fixed twisted handles and a lid decorated with a top and rows of beads. Footed base. Hallmarked by Jacques Frédéric Borst in Strasbourg. Owner's marks: "CS" and "HS". Condition: The base has undergone extensive repair – it has been resoldered and sanded. The interior has been repainted to conceal the repair. A small crack remains near the handle. This item is primarily decorative or suitable for a collector who doesn't want to spend €300! Reasonable price negotiable. Diameter 22 cm, width including handles 31 cm, total height 17 cm
