Holy water font in polychrome high-fired earthenware from Les Islettes. Late 18th - early 19th century. Characteristic shape with a painted backsplash with a peripheral border, painted cross, large, wide, semi-spherical basin without a gadrooned nipple. Perizonium tied on the side... See photo of the reference book (image bottom left). This object is part of the iconographic images in this book, the previous owner was partly the editor. Polychromy in perfect condition. Note tiny enamel chips at the level of Christ (1 at the level of the left leg) and on the cup (1 on the front). No cracks, no repairs.
