A fine 17th-century drawing on laid paper, in brown ink and ink wash. Two figures, seen from behind, are conversing and observing a third figure working below. The figures are vividly sketched and dressed in ample, draped, antique-style cloaks. In very good condition. The wooden frame is painted in the style of enamel, with gold highlights around the edges. 18th century.
