Beautiful oil on panel, representing "Susan and the Elders", in a classical environment. Characters dressed in antique style. A putto in a fountain, stands near Susan, whom two old men try to undress. A still life at the feet of the putto, on the theme of water. Beautiful composition, well balanced. Some small lacks of material, which will be restored by the end of August. Probably Italian work, on a classical theme, taken from the Bible. Beautiful colors, which vibrate well together. 20th century frame, in gilded wood trimmed with red velvet.
