Bronze Obelisk, Circa 1820–1830.
A beautiful bronze obelisk from the Restoration period. Its base is adorned with a large flower (a sun?) on the front and, on either side, two coats of arms decorated with the three royal fleurs-de-lis. The obelisk itself rests on its base via four small balls. A larger loop adorns its top.
A few minor dents on the back of the object, not visible from the front, and all clustered together—likely the result of a fall.
Bronze or copper. Beautiful patina.
